Apple has recently rolled out the latest version 14.4.1 for macOS Sonoma to address various issues that users and companies have encountered after the release of the 14.4 update earlier this month.
One of the key fixes included in the update is for problems with USB hubs connected to external displays, Copy protected Audio Unit plug-ins, and apps that incorporate Java. Users reported issues with broken USB hubs, Java, and iLok audio software DRM devices, as well as broken printer drivers and deleted file revisions in iCloud Drive.
Interestingly, some of these bugs were not present in the preview builds of the 14.4 update, which may explain why they were not detected during the public beta period. Additionally, the update includes security patches for “clickless” exploits that could potentially allow remote code execution after a compromised image is displayed.
In addition to the macOS Sonoma update, Apple also released macOS Ventura 13.6.6 for Macs that have not yet upgraded to Sonoma in order to patch the security vulnerabilities. Minor updates were also released for iOS, iPadOS, and visionOS last week to address the same security issues, with no specific non-security bug fixes mentioned in the release notes.
Overall, the latest updates aim to improve the performance and security of Apple’s operating systems, ensuring a smoother experience for users and addressing any potential vulnerabilities. Stay tuned for more updates on the latest tech news on Celebrity Beauty Buzz.
