Israeli Settlers Attack Palestinian Villages Following Death of Israeli Boy
Tensions are high in the occupied West Bank following the death of 14-year-old Israeli boy Binyamin Achimair in the area of Malachei Ha’Shalom. The Israeli military has labeled his death as a “terrorist attack,” although the cause of death remains unclear.
In the aftermath of Achimair’s death, Israeli settlers have surrounded Palestinian villages and launched violent attacks on residents. Eyewitnesses have described the clashes as a “street war,” with settlers setting houses and cars ablaze, firing gunshots, and engaging in physical altercations with Palestinians.
Videos circulating online show clashes between Palestinians and settlers in villages such as Deir Dibwan and Beitin, located east of Ramallah. In Al-Mughayyir, a large-scale attack left one Palestinian man dead and 25 others injured.
The violence in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem has been escalating since the October 7 attacks, with at least 462 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces or settlers, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to find those responsible for Achimair’s murder, while Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has urged the public not to take the law into their own hands.
The Palestinian Red Crescent has reported that over a dozen Palestinians have been wounded by gunfire during the recent clashes with settlers.
The situation remains volatile as both sides continue to clash in the region. Stay tuned to Celebrity Beauty Buzz for more updates on this developing story.
