The popular Galaxy SmartTag2 has recently undergone a design change based on customer feedback. SmartThings has prioritized supporting protocols such as Thread and Wi-Fi through Matter, and while it focuses on these technologies, there are currently no plans to support Z-Wave on the hardware.
