Exciting New Kids’ Bike Options Showcased at Sea Otter Classic
Celebrities and biking enthusiasts alike were buzzing with excitement at this year’s Sea Otter Classic as several top brands introduced new and innovative kids’ bikes. Woom, a popular choice for young riders, showcased their range of balance bikes including the Woom 1 for kids 18 months and older and the Woom 2 for kids aged 3 and up.
Norco also made waves with their Norco 2024 Fluid 1 FS 24″ and Norco 2024 Fluid 1 FS 20″ mountain bikes for kids. Kids Ride Shotgun drew attention with their Dirt Hero off-road balance bike for kids 2-5 years old. Marin Bikes featured a variety of mountain bikes for kids, including the Coast Trail, San Quentin 24″, and Rift Zone Jr 24″.
Leatt introduced Junior Fusion Vests for kids at the bike park, while DHaRCO showcased their Youth Tech Party Shirt and Gravity Pants and Shorts for kids on and off the bike. Prevelo announced updates to their Zulu series hardtail mountain bikes for small riders, and Commencal presented the Ramones Push bike and Clash 20 V2 full suspension bike for kids.
One of the highlights of the event was Woom providing demo bikes for kids at Sea Otter, complete with a small pump track and obstacle course. Marin also impressed with their Coast Trail bike for kids, featuring a superlight aluminum frame and fork, smooth rolling tires, and multiple wheel size options.
