Former New Orleans Saints offensive lineman Andrus Peat has officially signed a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders in the latest post-draft wave of free agency. The first-round pick from the 2015 draft spent his entire career with the Saints, starting 102 of his 111 appearances and earning Pro Bowl nods from 2018 to 2020.
Despite his success, Peat struggled with injuries during his time in New Orleans, missing a total of 36 regular-season games. However, in 2023, he appeared in a career-high 16 games and played at left tackle. Unfortunately, his five-year, $57.5 million deal with the Saints was voided after a series of restructurings.
Before signing with the Raiders, the 30-year-old lineman was only linked to the Tennessee Titans. Peat’s versatility on the field makes him a strong candidate for a starting role in Las Vegas, where he will compete for a starting guard spot with players such as Cody Whitehair, Jackson Powers-Johnson, and Dylan Parham. Additionally, Peat could also see playing time at either tackle position for the Raiders.
Fans are eager to see how Peat will fit into the Raiders’ lineup and what impact he will make in the upcoming season. Stay tuned to Celebrity Beauty Buzz for the latest updates on Andrus Peat and other celebrity athletes in the world of sports.
