The 2024 NFL Draft is in full swing, with a total of 16 trades taking place during the first three rounds. The Minnesota Vikings were busy on draft day, making a trade to select quarterback J.J. McCarthy and pass rusher Dallas Turner. The Detroit Lions also made a move, trading up with the Dallas Cowboys to select cornerback Terrion Arnold.
The Kansas City Chiefs didn’t want to miss out on the action, trading up to select speedster Xavier Worthy. The Carolina Panthers also got in on the trading frenzy, swapping picks with the Buffalo Bills to select wide receiver Xavier Legette.
Night 2 of the draft saw even more action, with 11 trades taking place, seven of which occurred in the second round. Wideout Ladd McConkey and cornerbacks Cooper DeJean and Kool-Aid McKinstry were all selected in the second round after trades were made.
