King Charles III made his first public appearance since announcing his cancer diagnosis, attending an Easter service at Windsor Castle with Queen Camilla by his side. The couple sat separately from other royals in order to decrease the risk of infection, as King Charles continues his treatment.
Notably absent from the service were Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their children. The Princess of Wales, who also announced her cancer diagnosis and is undergoing treatment, is expected to return to official duties once she is cleared by her medical team.
Despite the absence of some members of the royal family, including Prince Andrew, the service proceeded as planned. King Charles III had pre-recorded a message for the Royal Maundy service, which was played during the event in his absence.
Queen Camilla graciously attended the service in place of the King, showing support for her husband during this challenging time. Fans can join Fox News for access to special content and articles, including this story from the Associated Press.
